We are here to support young people aged 0-18 and their families.
For young people, we can offer more specific advice on issues that you may have to face as you get older.

We are here if you need someone to talk to or if you need any help or advice about how to be healthy. We can visit you either in your school, in your local community or at home.
We provide one to one support over 4-6 weeks using an agreed individual health plan to look at healthy behaviour changes.
We are the winners of the Nursing Times Child Health Award 2010.
The Health Mentor Service can be accessed in all high schools in Tameside via a drop in session. The sessions will depend on the individual school and details are available from the Health Mentor Service or the school.
We work as part of school health teams, and work closely with school nurses, health visitors and GPs who can also refer you to the service.
