What you need to bring with you
To help ensure an efficient service, when you arrive for your appointment please bring with you:
- Your appointment letter
- Name, address and postcode of your GP
- Your NHS number
- Details of your next of kin
- Your home address and postcode
- Details of any medication you are taking
During your appointment
You will be seen in the clinic by a doctor or nurse, who will discuss your treatment with you. You may also require some tests or investigations, and so you may need to spend a few hours with us.
In order to carry out certain tests some patients may be required to undress, and you may be seen by members of staff of the opposite sex and medical students. If you have any concerns about any of this, please tell a member of staff on your arrival.
If you do need to have any tests or investigations, the results will either be sent to your GP, to your home or discussed with you at another outpatient appointment.
