The festive winter 2022 edition of Trust magazine is now available, bringing you up to speed on the very latest from Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT.
Our cover stars are the Integrated Services for Children with Additional Needs (ISCAN) team, who scooped the Clinical Team of the Year prize at this year’s Everyone Matters Awards. The awards returned with a bang after a two-year break, and this edition of the magazine takes you through all of the winners from a fantastic night at the Etihad Stadium. There is also an in-depth look at the work of the ISCAN team on page eight.
As we all learn to live with COVID, many residents across Tameside and Glossop are battling with the effects of what the initial infection leaves behind. We are innovating and adapting our services to care for these patients, and you can find out how in our Long Covid clinic feature on page five. On the same page, we send our congratulations to Sindhu Don, a nurse who recently received recognition from the Royal College of Nursing.
On page ten there is an interview with our new Medical Director, Dilraj Sandher. Dilraj tells us about his working life previous to joining us, the challenges we are currently facing and ambitions for the future.
