From Tuesday 1 August at 8am, a new entrance and waiting area to our Emergency Department opens.
This is part of our £20m Emergency Department redevelopment, which is expected to complete in Spring 2024.
Our new waiting room is an improved booking in and waiting area for patients who need emergency care.
The new entrance is located close to the existing entrance on Fountain Street and patients should follow the directional signs in place.
