- Lights switch on from 4pm
Residents of Tameside and Glossop are invited to join us for the Christmas lights switch on at Tameside Hospital on Tuesday 12 December.
It will take place outside Tameside Hospital's main entrance, Hartshead South, around 4pm.
We will be joined by a local choir for carols before and after the switch on.
There will also be opportunity to stock up on Christmas presents and goodies as we welcome traders from Ashton Market for the return of our Christmas Artisan Markets.
Stalls will be open from midday selling everything from handmade jewellery, fruit and veg & flowers to cakes, handmade crafts & pies and pasties.
