A new paediatric asthma initiative has been launched at the Trust, aiming to improve care for children and young people, while lowering repeat hospital admissions.

'Tree-mendous’ improvement to hospital
20 March 2025
A new partnership blossomed at Tameside Hospital on 19 and 20 March, when 10 new trees were planted. The trees will improve surroundings and help capture and store carbon emissions, supporting the Trust’s aim to reach ‘net zero’ by 2040, as laid out in our green plan.
